THE PROJECT HATE To Record New Album In December

August 3, 2004

THE PROJECT HATE, the Swedish band featuring Jörgen Sandström of ENTOMBED/GRAVE fame on lead vocals, will enter Soundlab Studios in December to record their fourth full-length album, tentatively due in early 2005. "We plan to record 8 or 9 songs for the album," the group write on their web site. "We are also planning to record a cover. No, it's not going for the album but for a planned compilation album to be released sometime if all goes well. When there's more info about this we'll announce what band we are covering. Let just say we won't do the song in the traditional cover way..."

With regards to the new songs, the band write, "The material is possibly more death metal than anything we have ever done before, without losing all the usual ingredients we are known for. That stuff is probably more evident than ever as well, how weird that may sound..."
